gnome-panel 2.10.1-0ubuntu1
on Ubuntu 5.04

- log in (GNOME)
- click on the "System" menu
- move the mouse pointer onto "Preferences"
- wait for the submenu to appear
- quickly move the mouse pointer onto "Administration" and click (must click
before the new submenu appears)

Result :
The entire menu disappears.

Expected :
"Preferences" submenu disappears, "Administration" submenu appears.

Reproducible : yes (must be quick, but happens in 90% cases )
