Ubuntu | gnome-cups-manager

Summary: "Become an Administrator" calls gksudo with unrecognised
                    option
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-cups-manager
        AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: jamie at anchor.net.au
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When run from the System menu, choosing a printer, then choosing to become an
administrator, all the windows disappeared. Running gnome-cups-manager from the
command line:

plank% gnome-cups-manager

(gnome-cups-manager:2617): Gnome-WARNING **: Accessibility: failed to find
module 'libgail-gnome' which is needed to make this application accessible
GTK Accessibility Module initialized

(gnome-cups-manager:2617): Gnome-WARNING **: Accessibility: failed to find
module 'libatk-bridge' which is needed to make this application accessible
grep: /etc/cups/cupsd.conf: Permission denied
grep: /etc/cups/cupsd.conf: Permission denied
grep: /etc/cups/cupsd.conf: Permission denied

** (gnome-cups-manager:2617): WARNING **: failed request with status 404
plank% gksudo: unrecognized option `--properties'

and a bunch of gksudo accepted options follows.

I fear for for those trying to use their printer without knowledge of the
command line.
