Summary: setting volume to the minimum does not mute sound
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-applets
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: manuellopezibanez at yahoo.es
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
When I set the volume to the minimum level, the icon changes, the tooltip shows
"Master: muted" and the right-click menu shows the option Muted as checked.
However, I can still hear sound while using for example mplayer.
