Actually it is even worse, choosing HPLIP doesn't work at all.
For example, if you choose HP(HPLIP), HP-LaserJet-2200-Postscript-(recommended),
Standard(CUPS) (Suggested), close; then next time you open properties of this
printer, the driver will be HP LaserJet 2200, Postscript (recommended)
(Suggested). In other words, the HPLIP drivers are just ignored by
gnome-cups-manager. They only waste space in the menu...
