Summary: "GNOME Display Manager not running" at shutdown
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gdm
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ubuntu.com at schildbach.de
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

This is a cosmetic issue, nevertheless I'd like to track it:

When shutting down Breezy (latest), one of the first messages is

Stopping GNOME display manager...
GNOME Display Manager not running

If GDM has already been shutdown, there should not be a second try. Although the
message ("...not running") does not have any functional issues, it "feels bad"
for the user.
