Im not sure wether this is totem, gstreemer or gstreemer-ffmpeg (divx video) but
if a avi file is played totem encounters a fatal general gstreamer error (its
words not mine). This can be solved by skipping forward slightly and the video
then continues to play. I have the multimedia settings set to audio in alsa
audio out alsa vedio in v4l video out xv/xshm/x11.
