I have now installed Breezy Preview.
Since my harddisk is now visible as /dev/hda, the CF card reader seems to have
been moved to /dev/hdc.
I have done the changes to /etc/udev/permissions.rules as you said and am
attaching the file so you can double check.
I am also re-attaching all of the already attached files, because of the system
change.
I still haven't tried to re-format the two CF cards I am using for testing, but
they should have been formatted about 3 years ago (in my digital camera), using
VFAT. And according to the log, the VFAT partition is detected. But let me know
if you see no other obvious error, in this case I will try to format one.
