Ubuntu | gnome-volume-manager
Summary: g-v-m should not pop up a nautilus window for removable
media when media is already connected during boot.
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-volume-manager
AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: hcbrugmans at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
At the moment when removable media are already in the drive when the system is
booting, the first thing g-v-m does when the user hits the desktop is to pop up
a window with the contents of the media.
reproduce:
boot with a cdrom/dvd in the drive.
This should not happen, since it is not the media being inserted, but g-v-m
coming up. The user will already know the cd is there, and what is on it.
