Ubuntu | gnome-panel
Summary: No "Bookmarks" submenu in "Places" menu
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-panel
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: felix.rommel at web.de
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
Breezy RC1:
There is no Bookmarks submenu in the "Places" menu. That means that if you have
many bookmarks in Nautilus or in your open dialog they all will be shown
directly in the "Places" menu instead of in a submenu called "Bookmarks".
Starting with Gnome 2.10 there was introduced this "Bookmarks" submenu in the
"Places" menu because otherwise it will be too complex. For example if you have
10 bookmarks the "Places" menu will be too long and very cluttered.
