acpi-discharge-fix.patch
Here's a workaround for HAL.
Joshua: if you could:
apt-get source hal
then take this patch and save it inside
hal-0.5.3/debian/patches/acpi-discharge-fix.patch
then build the package like normal.
Please report if this fixes your problems.
One note: when going from discharging to plugged in and not charging (ie: you
plug in the AC adaptor when still at 100%) the battery status won't immediately
get updated to not be 'discharging' unless we also get another ACPI event for
some other change in the battery. If the patch works, please report how
quickly the battery is marked as not discharging in this case.
Cheers.
