When I insert a DVD in Totem I get the following on the command line:

(totem:13410): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_pad_query: assertion `GST_IS_PAD
(pad)' failed

and a dialog stating:

Internal GStreamer error: pad problem.  File a bug.


This is for a DVD that loads straight to a menu.
