I think something really unfortunate is happening. I answered yes and continued
the program execution, but evolution did not crash in the same way as the
original bugreport; it became unresponsive to the mouse clicks, and the gdb
console printed the following lines:
----------------------------------------------------------
[New Thread 851834096 (LWP 10731)]
[Thread 851834096 (LWP 10731) exited]
ptrace: No such process.
thread_db_get_info: cannot get thread info: generic error
----------------------------------------------------------
At this time the program execution in the debugger stopped - it gave me the
"(gdb)" prompt.
I tried to get the backtrace, but I failed again:
------------------------------------------
(gdb) bt
#0 <signal handler called>
Cannot access memory at address 0x100
(gdb) thread apply all bt
reading register r0 (#0): No such process.
Segmentation fault
------------------------------------------
I'm attaching the full gdb session output to explain better what happened. Sorry
for the inconvenience.
