The current version of the Totem-Gstreamer mozilla plug-in does not stream video
or sound. The plug-in screen contained within Firefox v1.06 remains black and
the sound is mute. I installed all of the gstreamer plug-ins and Totem-Gstreamer
operates per spec when playing videos from the local hard disk. Converting the
Totem backend to xine results in much improvement but some video formats are
still not handled.
