Summary: can't login in to gnome unless I am using a failsafe
gnome session
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-desktop
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: ayanm at yahoo.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
Hi,
I am using ubuntu preview version of Breezy. I can't log into gnome. THe seesion
lasts for less than 10 seconds. The .xsession-error is
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp
-u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "raja"
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
However if I use the failsafe gnome session, it works fine.
