Summary: Items disappears from Nautilus (and desktop)
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: mjuliuss at online.no
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Lately, using Breezy, items on the desktop suddenly disappears. The same items
also disappears if I open the Desktop folder in a Nautilus window (ordinary or
in browser mode). The items are present when I start GNOME, but seems to
disappear when I use something connected to apt - really strange and I'm not
sure about that. I haven't kept any record of which items disappears, but it
seems to be ordinary textfiles. Last time I checked I got 34 items on the
desktop when I logged in. While upgrading the system some of them disappeard and
I was left with 20. If I use ls in terminal I find all 34 items. If I log out of
GNOME and in again the lost items are back on the desktop. I don't know if this
is the same for other folders in my home directory.

Just leave a comment for this bug if there are any ideas of tests I can run.
