Summary: When You Choose "Reboot" Ubuntu Shuts Down Instead.
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: desktop-base
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: jlacroix82 at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I just wiped my hard drive, and installed Ubuntu Breezy Colony 5. When it was
finished installing, it said remove the cd and press enter to reboot. I did, and
it said that it was rebooting, and it actually shut down, causing me to have to
manually turn it back on. When selecting reboot from the logout menu during
using the installed product, it says that its rebooting but it just shut down.
With the previous Breezy version I had it worked fine.
