using an external harddisk with ext3 filesystem and a lable set to "SomeThing"
the disk is mounted to /media/SomeThing if you plug it into your usb/firewire
port. 
if you unmount the disk and open computer:// in nautilus,
a double click on the disk will mount the disk on /media/sda1.

the disk should be mounted on /media/SomeThing in all cases.
