During the install I haven't notice any problem. Neither warning message nor
error message. 
Concerning something mysterious in var/log/gdm.log I must avow that I don't know
what I'm supposed to find so I can't tell if therre is something mysterious. But
let me know if you want me to send it to you. 
By booting into safe mode and doing an "apt-get upgrade" it installs some
package (but doesn't install a newer Xorg package). But when I reboot into
normal mode I have access to a full desktop with icons and tasks bar.
