Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you copy some files
when that happen? Is that the nautilus process that uses the CPU according to top?
Can you get a backtrace of what happens with gdb, with the libgnomevfs2-0-dbg
nautilus-dbg packages installed, when it uses the CPU?
- gnome-session-remove nautilus
- gdb nautilus
(gdb) handle SIG33 pass nostop noprint
(gdb) run
... use CPU
<ctrl-C>
(gdb) thread apply all bt

Is that dependant of the server used?
