Description:
Rhythmbox (via gstreamer) lacks out-of-the-box support for mp3. This is
by-design. However, the error message that is shown isn't very helpul.
It currently reads:
"Playback Error: You do not have a decoder installed to handle this
file. You might need to install the necessary plugins."
It would be nice if the error message stated *what* the missing codec
was. Obviously this isn't possible (there are an unbounded number of
codecs and containers) in all cases, but it would be nice to give the
user some helpful information for the most common codecs: AAC, MP3, WMA,
...
