Hi,

I'm a bit new to linux so this may just be me being ignorant.

Have now installed the nvidia drivers:

These are from the nvidia-glx package v 1.0.8178+2.6.15.7-3

Running under Gnome so I assume gstreamer.
If I run:
$ gstreamer-properties

That is me testing the default input plugin from the Video tab.  Displays the last message on screen.

Have installed gstreamer0.8-dvd v 0.8.12-lubunu1 from package manager.

Not sure what to do now.
