Public bug reported:
Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
If I start my computer with my IPod attached, the IPod is mounted and it
shows up in the disk mount applet.
I can click the applet and eject/unmount the IPod. This works fine.
The icon for the IPod stays on my panel and if I click it again I have
the option of mounting it. If I try that I get a dialog with the
following error (translated from Danish so wording may be a bit off):
Can't mount the selected archive
mount: media not found
mount: media not found
error: could not execute pmount
I've checked that I can execute pmount from a shell, so it is obviously
installed.
