Thanks for your work on this. Honestly, I laughed my ass off, when I understood about the usr= parameter. :-)

Could you get another backtrace with   thread apply all bt   instead of   backtrace ?

This looks like a gtkhtml crasher, probably http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321310 (which mentions scim-anthy as well).
