Description:
lshal does not list any of my two SCSI devices, which is
- a DVD-ROM drive, and a
- CD reader/writer.

Not sure if this is a hal bug or udev bug or whatever bug - please let me know what information you require.
FWIW, this has never worked for me in dapper (so it isn't anything that
only broke recently).
