[Bug 39035] pygtk init modifies sys.path

Description:
Some python programs that require pygtk fail to start (e.g. streamtuner)
in dapper because the pygtk init (/usr/lib/python2.4/site-
packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py) modifies the calling programs
sys.path.

Commenting out all references to sys.path fixes the problem.

Version of pygtk tested is 2.8.5-0ubuntu1.
