[Bug 39150] Configuration files not properly generated

Description:
According to a discussion I've had on the gnome bugtraq  ( see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337935 ), configuration files are not properly generated for a few screensavers, such as solarwinds (package rss-glx), this results in not being able to choose from different display modes.
I'm running an up-to-date Dapper Drake, freshly installed a week ago (Flight 5, if I remember correctly)
