[Bug 39175] Does not report active interface

Description:
Currently, the Network Monitor is reporting "SIOCGIFFLAGS error: No such
device", while the wired network interface is active and the wireless
network interface is disabled. The wired network interface is eth0 and
wireless is eth1. I can't, at the moment, find out what interface it is
attempting to use, nor can I find a way to specify an interface.

Computer is a HP Pavilion ze2000z Laptop
Turion 64 ml30
1.5 gb of memory (128 mb shared with graphics)

0000:05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)
0000:05:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)

eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD, link ok

Running Dapper Drake Flight 6 with latest updates. This is a fresh
install, only have done updates.
