I have the same issue after the latest dapper update. Here is the relevant portion of /var/log/cups/error_log:

If I manually overwrite /etc/cups/printers.conf with a pre-update backup copy, the printer shows up in the printers dialog (but won't print). Here's the contents of /etc/cups:
