Sebastian and Daniel. thank you both for replying so quickly. You both seem to be decisive men so I won't argue with the outcome.

I thought my proposal seemed fair in light of Ubuntu as a whole, thinking outside of the single packages and looking at offering a consistent visual style among all components. I hope I didn't just make myself impopular by filing this bug.

I do not seem to have privileges to update the status to Rejected or Wontfix, can / should someone do this?
