Description of the crash:
Shortly after a connection with the server is made,  X-Chat Gnome
crashes.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Connect to network (any network will do, I tried with Ubuntu &
irc1.inet.fi [IRCnet] )
2. wait 1-2 seconds
3. CRASH

Expected Results:
program crashes (restart, close, inform devs)

How often does this happen?
Every time.

Additional Information:
No plugins were in use at the time of the crash.
