[Bug 39778] Abiword crashes X server when scrolling large files

Description:
I'm using abiword-gnome 2.4.2-0ubuntu5. When scrolling large files using
the vertical scroll handle, abiword brings down the entire X server.

I'm attaching the file that caused the problem (it occurs with any large
file however)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the file attached below

2. Select a few lines of text

3. Drag the scrollbar at moderate speeds

4. Watch abiword crash and bring down the X server
