[Bug 39968] Missing seperate timer for locking screen

Public bug reported:
Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
The current gnome-screensaver on dapper does not have a timer for locking the screen, i.e. the screen gets locked when the screen gets blanked. This is extremly annoying: If I'm idle for some time (watching data or a movie) and the screensaver is activated, moving the mouse is not enough, I also have to type in my password. But if I'm really away, i'd like the screen to get locked.
So there is missing a second option to set the timeout after which the screen gets locked (should be larger than the time after which the time gets blanked of course). I'm quite sure this was possible on breezy.
