As described before the feature conflict and people might find either annoying. 

Take the previous example:
"- temp
- tip
- ttexample"

"t" should select the first item, ie: "temp", a repetition should select "ttexample". Then an another pression on it ... why should it unselect and start cycling on the one "t" words again? You could expect it to some on the nearest match which is "ttexample"
