[Bug 28786] Re: Icons shown on desktop for non user mounts in /media

Is there a specification for what the intended behaviour is here? I've not followed exactly the changes with moving from the gconf key to the hal rules or whatever, but the net result is that I now see the opposite to when I filed the bug.

In particular, the following fstab line does not create a visible drive icon anywhere: 
"/dev/hda1       /media/Windows     vfat    noatime,users,noauto ..."

If there was a description of all that is supposed to show/not show, I could probably play around and find out how much of it is working.
