Public bug reported:
Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
Hello!
When setting some keyboard shortcuts (e.g. "<CTRL><ALT>n" for next track under "Sound") the letter (in this case "n") will not get written when writing commands in Terminal, text in OpenOffice, URL in Opera etc etc.
Some shortcuts act perfect (e.g. "<CTRL><ALT>g" for opening a Terminal). I noticed the problem under "Sound"- previous, next and play/pause)
Procedure:
1. System - Brukervalg (norwegian for User Settings) - Tastatursnarveier (=Keyboard Shortcuts)
2. Sound
3. Setting previous and next track, play/pause
4. Open a Gnome Terminal
5. Try writing the letters used by the shortcuts
6. The letters will not be written. Other letters are OK
Regards
