[Bug 41208] Sometimes crashes without reason

Description:
Sometimes my gnome-panel crashes, whether I'm clicking on applets or on
Applications-Places-System, or application icons.

Often on startup the panel doesn't even make an appearance, making me
only see the background and a "naked" bottom panel, with just the Bin
icon.
