[Bug 41258] sometimes cpufreq-applet blocks gnome-panel

Description:
I use Dapper. When I left-click on the cpufreq-applet most of the gnome-
panel becomes blocked. I have to richt-click the panel and bring up the
about dialog for gnome-panel, which then makes gnome-panel and its
applets responsive again.

Sadly this doesn't happen always and I don't know what causes this. For
example right now I cannot reproduce.
