Happens to me too. Ubuntu 6.06 Beta 2/AMD64. 1) I can't save new unsaved files 2) I can't "save as..." or "save copy..." after opening a document I think this is a blocker. Is this really severity "normal"? -- The Save-As button on a new, unsaved file crashes https://launchpad.net/bugs/39367
