[Bug 42163] g-s-l won't allow horizontal scrolling

Description:
When viewing a log file in gnome-system-log it's impossible to scroll
horizontally to reach the end of longer lines. This is especially the
case with "lower" resolutions like 1024x768. This in my eyes makes a
not-that-useful program even more lying around...
