Public bug reported:
Affects: ubuntulooks gtk2-engines-ubuntulooks (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
The pressed buttons in the interface appear wrong after switching to
another workspace, and back again. Most of the times, they are split
into two triangles having two different colors: pink and green, black
and gray, or white and green. The triangles are separated across a line
uniting the top right corner of the button with its bottom left corner.
I can see this happening at least in Rhythmbox (click the Play button,
it will remain pressed) and Totem, although in Totem it seems not to
happen so often, and the colors are two very close shades of gray, most
of the time (I only saw the green once, but all the play/stop buttons
are affected, not only the Sidebar button from Totem). I think it's
enough to hide and restore the window to see this effect - minimizing
Rhythmbox and restoring it, or hiding it in the tray icon, and restoring
it, reproduce the problem each time, as well. In Totem all buttons show
this effect, pressed or not (even the disabled ones), but it's not so
severe as in Rhythmbox, due to the two colors being hard to
differentiate. Moving the mouse above the affected button makes the
entire button paint correctly, until the window is hidden and restored
again.
I am able to produce screenshots with this problem, but I see no way to
attach files here. I use Dapper Beta, with the latest updates. I think
it's an Ubuntulooks problem, since it doesn't happen with the Clearlooks
theme.
