Looking back, it would appear the last error I received was 7 days ago
(Apr 23). I do updates pretty much daily, so I assume 2.14.1.1 was
released sometime in the past week.

In any event, I have reinstalled 2.14.1.1 and can not reproduce the
errors.

I will close the bug if you'll point me in the right direction. I am
looking at it in Launchpad now, and do not see a link to "close" it.
