Just a note to the original reporter :

This happened to me when I had breezy and Dapper installed at the same time, on seperate partitions. In Dapper, the Breezy partitions were shown as mounted. Could you please let us know if this is what is happening for you too? Are the root and boot partitions different from the ones for the OS/version that you are booted into?
