I think I've half-solved this bug : I set the gnome sound controller to control the 'headphones' and it works (even rhytmbox is controlled). So I think keys control 'master' wich don't control sound properly. -- Dapper - Gnome volume controler don't control gstreamer https://launchpad.net/bugs/44518
