Did you resize the logo to fix crashing totem-xine at startup? This fix causes crash when changing preferences, see closed bug #41099 . If yes, try to install version from dapper-updates, there it works for me. -- Totem crashes everytime changing its preferences https://launchpad.net/bugs/54100
