Hi, I have been using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS for a long time. 
I have to admit that it is a really good linux distro except one thing that
keeps annoying me all the time.
When I boot my system and select ubuntu-..... to boot, after the Ubuntu Logo dissappears
and the loading process completes, sometime (not always) the login screen doesn't appear
and instead I get a black screen where I can do nothing.
I don't really know if that is a bug or wrong configuration result but I thought it would be 
better to let you know....
Please look into this....
