I still see the same behaviour.
Since this bug seems difficult to solve, I've listed all the possibilities to access the contents of a Mixed-Mode CD and their respective outcomes below:
(A) After insertion, choose the desired method to open the CD:
Expected result: Open Sound Juicer or Nautilus depending on user selection.
Actual result: Open Sound Juicer or Nautilus depending on user selection.
(B) Doubleclick (or right-click and choose "Open") on CD-ROM icon on your desktop:
Expected result: Sound Juicer opens the CD.
Actual result: Sound Juicer opens the CD.
(C) Right-click on CD-ROM icon on your desktop and choose "Browse...":
Expected result: Nautilus shows the data contents of the CD.
Actual result: Sound Juicer opens the CD.
(D) Choose Places -> CD-ROM:
Expected result: debatable
Actual result: Sound Juicer opens the CD.
(E) Open "Computer" in Nautilus and double-click on CD-icon:
Expected result: debatable
Actual result: Sound Juicer opens the CD.
(F) In Sidebar of Nautilus when "Places" is selected, double-click on the CD-ROM icon:
Expected result: Nautilus shows the data contents of the CD.
Actual result: The folliwing error is reported: "cdda:///dev/hdc" is not a valid location.
Please check the spelling and try again.
(G) In Nautilus manually enter or naviate to /media/cdrom/:
Expected result: Nautilus shows the data contents of the CD.
Actual result: Nautilus shows the data contents of the CD.
So apart from using (A), currently only (G) allows one to open the data part of a CD. This is definitely not enough, since it's also not the most obvious method.
A solution should therefore at least fix (C) and (F).
