Loïc pointed on IRC some days ago while updating gnome-themes for Debian
that what you call "new theme" has an older CVS revision than the
upstream one and that the blog you pointed is older than the upstream
change. I would prefer to ship the upstream version since it's newer and
they did the changes on purpose. I'm fine with the package shipping the
other variant under an another name, if you want to do that change feel
free
