[Bug 75198] .tiff attachments hang evolution (edgy)

Public bug reported:

clicking arrow to open tiffs at preview pane hangs evolution.

must be repeatedly force-quit. hangs on reopening to the same message
that it fails to read. suddenly then it will display, with the problem
reappearing if you try to view during future session.

228 KB tiff in this example. seen bug once before, also with a tiff.
