[Bug 47403] Smooth engine themes crash Evolution

Public bug reported:

Viewing an image attached to an email by clicking on the arrow at the
bottom of the message in question, and then hiding the image by clicking
the same arrow crashes Evolution.  Other themes engines do not seem to
cause this sort of crash.
