Looking at the date of the bug report, I think I must have been on
Dapper. I just now reproduced the bug on Edgy though.

1. Open a presentation.
2. Go into presentation mode.
3. Leaving the presentation open in presentation mode go to another workspace, download a new, never before opened PDF file, open it, it opens in presentation mode.

Evince seems to remember the mode, zoom, and position for each PDF,
because if I open a PDF from disk that I've opened before in step 3, on
edgy at least, it opens with its own settings.
